Europe| We will come back to Prague again! Last Day

In the end of the trip, we built a lot of sweet memories together overseas.  Although we only left home for about a week, we had experienced a few things that out of plan and unexpected, such as snow, delayed flight, new food and different lifestyle which made our journey more unforgettable.

Both of us had so much fight during the time, however it made us to know each other more and stick our heart tighter and more intimate.

On our last day, we still prayed for going home on time. We walked around in new town made some videos together and tried to remember everything in Prague.

We ordered random food and drink in a food court. ( I actually wanted to order a meat plate, but things just went wrong. lol )

We safely caught our flight back to Taiwan and celebrate my dear’s birthday in the air with free updated business class and 2 glasses of wine.

To my dear James, Happy birthday 😀

Europe| Roller coaster Prague Day 3

[Day 3 Roller coaster day in Prague]

We woke up with a white world with a bit sunshine at 9 a.m. for our biggest mission today.

Prague Castle!!!

We took tram to the castle. beginning of our journey, both of us were just too excited of snow, so we got distract ed by playing with snow on the way.

Prague Castle is probably the most romantic and magical place where I have been to. You really don’t feel like we are in 21 century now. I just need to put on a proper dress then I will immediately become a princess  from Asia ( sad that I don’t have a western face )

[About the Castle]

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world, the history of it stretches back to the year 870 with the construction of its first walled building, then slowly expended like the places that we see today.

[more history about the castle]

fb4e8-easter_icons-20-128How to get there?

we took Tram 22 to Prague castle stop- Pražský hrad.

Castle map

The castle consists of several parts, the ticket price depends on how many architectures that you want to visit. We bought ‘Circuit B” tickets for cz 250 each person.

Prague Castle – Circuit B
St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica, Golden Lane with Daliborka Tower

Golden Lane is one of the funnest place in the castle where has lots of little old fashion style shops selling medieval gadgets.

Franz Kafka (3 July 1883 – 3 June 1924) was a writer of novels and short stories who is widely regarded as one of the major figures of 20th-century literature.

“The castle” was one of his popular novel which talks about the story in Prague castle.

James was copying his expression. LOL

Medieval, gorgeous and magic are the perfect words for Prague. We enjoyed the best view of old town with a cup of hot chocolate, the city was covered by snow.

Why did I describe today is like riding a roller coaster ? On the way to the castle, James had received an email from KLM as the weather effect on our flight back to Taiwan. man… it’s the worst news ever because I can not go back to work late!!! We dropped from the heaven to the hell. Luckily, in the end of the trip we went back home just on time.

However, the journey has be continued. Our next stop is top 10 beautiful library in the world.

 Strahov Monastery Library

Tram 22 (W)Malostranská- 750m (T22)Pohořelec (W) 750m

Ticket: CKZ 100 per person

We left our worries behind, then continuously walking around in Prague.

We had look at old town again, and there were some weird museums and shops, such as… sex museum and hashish condom sort of things. Of course they have yummy chocolate shop too.

Europe| Prague Day 2

[Day 2 Surprise in Prague]

There was a big surprise for us today.

We had a smei-lazy day and started our day with Paul the morning. Okay, actually only I had a croissant. hmm, I would say I just had over expectation on them. It’s just a normal bread for me though.

James of course wanted his meat breaky, Prague Sandwich from the street.

Hmm, we didn’t know they charge it by weight, so it wasn’t as cheap as we thought, oh well, my dear need protein anyway. XD

So remember I mentioned we got a big surprise today? Yep, we got snow!!!!

After the snow trip in 2013, we haven’t had snow for a while. We both were so excited and I just realised the snow is in star shape that is really amazing until I had my knees started getting hurt from the freezing coldness. 😦

Hehe, I walked like a model, didn’t I? The road was very very slippery.

We are now at the Prague old town central where was very crowded with people although it was minus 10 degrees.  We took plenty photos and I suddenly realised James is a selfie king. He took selfie stick everywhere with him.( I am glad he had fun though)

After spending most time out, we had a break afterwards. I felt so good to stay warm in our hotel. 😀

For dinner, we chose to have traditional Czech meal near our hotel in Wenceslas Square, we have fun time there. The main guy who cosplayed a knight from medieval times is very welcoming. He spoke good English and offer a deal to us by unlocking the magical chain. Hehe, I still don’t know how I solved it but we got free gifts as a reward.

Café Svatého Václava

Address: Václavské nám. 821/39, 110 00, Czech Republic

Official website:

It’s very sweet to have Chinese and English menu for us.  We ordered those three dishes which are enough for 2 stomachs.

Boleslav’s sword

Yummy pork, a bit salty, but perfect matches with plain rice on the side.

Potato soup served in a round loaf of bread according to grandmother’s recipe

I like the soup a lot, it’s a bit plain but it warms up the stomach and increases the appetite.

Apple strudel

You can never say ice cream tastes bad, can you? Nice vanilla ice cream, smooth, creamy and rich whereas the apple pie was a bit dry and too sweet for me.

Europe|The fairy tale town| Prague Day 1

[Day 1 The fairy tale town in Europe]

The coldest day in my life, that’s the first impression that I had when we landed Prague at 7 p.m..

First step after landing was to withdraw cash for the expense on the rest of days, unfortunately it took us a while to get the cash out as there wasn’t ATM which was on service.

We are rich again

Prague airport is relatively small compares to CDG, France. We soon found out our way and registered for a sim card in order to get wifi. This time we had less troubles luckily. 😀

People in Prague speak English more which is more friendly for us.

We then bought the tickets for shuttle bus, one hour later we finally checked in our lovely hotel.

James was very excited for food there as he was the one dominated for the rest of the trip. Prague old town is not too big but with all elements of romance and magic. The atmosphere was full with Christmas and medieval style.

Look at our first meal in Prague. ohh, I forgot to mention that it was -10ish degree. So we had nice warm mead and Prague sausages.

Old Prague town is amazing, lots of little stores in the wooden cottage. You really don’t feel yourself in 2016. I feel like I am the princess in my dear’s eyes. XD

We walked around in the city then heading back to the hotel for an early night to get rid off the tiredness and jet-leg.

Good Night Prague, see you tomorrow 🙂
